Setting the Package Source in Corel Linux

To update your package source to the potato distribution, for example, follow these steps:

1.    Open Corel Update. Select Set package sources from the Edit menu.

2. Check the Custom Path(s) box, and the http.us.debian.org line, and uncheck the rest.
Select the http.us.debian.org line in the Custom Path(s) section, and hit the Edit button.

Edit the Version to 'potato' from 'slink', which is the default setting in CLOS 1.2, then save it by hitting the OK button. It should look like this:

4. Then Update the profile and wait while the list of files is downloaded.

You need to be connected to the Internet and online to do this.

Once the download is complete, you can move on to upgrading and installing packages.
